How We Got Started

As the matriarch of the family, Beverly has always been someone with artistic talent. The greeting cards are Beverly's unique creations, each hand-drawn and hand-colored. Some even come with multiple layers and embellishments. Beverly's daughter, Laura, inherited some of that talent and has made many things, ranging from embroidered apparel, to jewelry and hair bows, bow ties most recently wreaths and distressed shirts . Laura's daughter, Denise also inherited artistic talent with a wonderful photographic eye and great sense of style and design. Denise has made many items ranging from bath products to hand-colored works of art.

Given these three generations of talent, one day it occurred to them to put their talents together and form BeLaDee.

'Be' for Beverly, 'La' for Laura and 'Dee' for Denise.
